Our Leadership

Dr. Richard O. Agjei is a notable researcher and lecturer with a diverse academic background. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Health Administration and Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in Ghana.

Dr. Agjei holds a PhD in Public Health and an MSc in Research Chemistry from the University of Eastern Finland2. His research interests span Exposure Assessment, Affect Detection, Suicidal Behaviors, Health Policy and Analysis, Machine Learning, and Data Science Applications in Public Health. He has also been involved in various multidisciplinary academic research and teaching partnerships across Finland, the USA, Germany, the UK, and Africa.

Dr. Agjei is currently coordinating three ERASMUS+ funded projects: the Teprod Project, which focuses of capacity development in higher education using twin transition (circular economy, AI), the REVIVER project, which focuses on sustainable practices to enrich soil health, and the Green Gamings project, which uses gamification to motivate people to tackle climate change.

Dr. Bright Ankudze is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). Dr Ankudze obtained his PhD in Materials Chemistry and he is currently affiliated with the Department of Chemistry Education, University of Education, Winneba. His interest is in sustainable chemistry with expertise in green synthesis of metal nanoparticles for diverse application.

Dr. Ankudze also has extensive knowledge in education, impacting cutting-edge chemistry content at the university level. His knowledge, expertise, multidisciplinarity, and cross-cultural experience have made him instrumental in high-profile projects such as EU-sponsored TeProD, which aims to empower educators to integrate climate action and digital transformation into their teaching, and REVIVER, with emphasis on soil regeneration for sustainable crop production in Africa.
